Music life after (between) corona restrictions

After many months of silence in the concert halls, the music life in Austria is little by little waking up again. Finally I ended up playing three concert during last week, with different but very interesting programs.
First of all was a String duo Kleio recital in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. This church concert was since the beginning planned to be held the 15th of August, when the church is celebrating it’s patron saint, virgin Mary. For the occasion we made a duo version of the 14th of the Rosary Sonatas of H. F. I. Biber, that is dedicated to the assumption of virgin Mary. Other composer names were Mozart, Martinu and Paganini.
The 20th of August was a world premiere of a church film opera “Jeanne d’Arc” by J. Kalitzke. The massive performance was organised by the festival Carintische Sommer, and I was playing violin in Kärntner Sinfonieorchester conducted by the composer himself. Link
Finally the 22nd of August I had a great honor to play with the legendaric concert master of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Rainer Küchl. He was a concert master in the chamber orchestra conducted by the young, talented Emmanuel Tjeknavorian in a concert that was part of concert series “Klassik im Burghof” in Klagenfurt.
